Patna High Court's relief order for those who deposit money in Sahara India, now the money will be returned


 There is great news for the investors who are waiting to return their money deposited in Sahara India.  Such people can now get their deposited money back.  Patna High Court has ordered to start the process of returning the money of the consumers deposited in various schemes of Sahara India.  The High Court gave this order while hearing the intervention (हस्तक्षेप) petitions filed regarding payment.  The next hearing of the case will be on April 20.

Court said- Bihar poor state, do not give trouble (मुसीबत) to the public

It was told by SEBI before the single bench of Justice Sandeep Kumar that they have so far examined about 430 intervention petitions.  Other petitions are also being examined.  The court said that Bihar is a poor state.  The non-payment of the hard earned money of the public, which has been deposited by the Sahara Company in various schemes, is painful for the public.

So far five people have been arrested

The court was told that till now there is no order of the Supreme Court to pay the money deposited in Sahara India's two schemes Sahara Housing and Sahara Real Estate.  The court was told on behalf of the Economic Offenses Unit (EOU) that 10 FIRs have been registered against Nidhi companies depositing public money.  The charge sheet has also been submitted.  Five people have also been arrested.

The legal head of SEBI was summoned (बुलायी गयी)

The Patna High Court was hearing the intervention petition related to about 100 cases related to Sahara India.  During the hearing of this case, the High Court, after hearing Sahara's argument, had directed the Legal Head of SEBI to appear and explain the situation.
